pair it with a three-syllable middle name and i'll be super happy. baby's last name will be two syllables (let's say it's "miller") so you can try it out for flow.
and as middle name maybe
Penelope
Christina
Sophia
Andrea
Coraline
Eleanor
Davina
Gabrielle
Isabel
Juniper
i LOVE eve, but am having a hard time convincing dh.

really? i liked it at first, but not loving it as much anymore. maybe it's because it's his mother's middle name (not that i don't adore my MIL, i do). he thinks mae goes well with tess (dd's name). have to think about it.
i'll probably have a boy and this will all be moot. but i do appreciate all the suggestions.
we're trying to avoid names that are short for something (i know, we're very particular). although we have discussed cate/kate which is obviously short for something. i'm not loving it so much anymore, with the upcoming royal wedding and all.
I love, love, love Wren. I would use it in a heartbeat for a future baby girl, but it sounds too much like my son's name. I think it's just beautiful! I also love Mae and Jane.
