pair it with a three-syllable middle name and i'll be super happy. baby's last name will be two syllables (let's say it's "miller") so you can try it out for flow.
loving them ladies. keep 'em comin'.
i can, and i love them.
abigail is on our middle name list. i like maude too, but dh would never go for it.
tess is dd's name (so, you're on the right track). :)
i really like jane, but it's my middle name (would that be weird)?
i like jane aurora and it flows nicely and sounds lovely with baby's last name. will have to see what dh thinks. he's kind of stuck on mae right now.
i LOVE eve, but am having a hard time convincing dh.
dh will love it. although he prefers spelling it mae. also, he says if baby comes in may (i'm due the 3rd), he doesn't want to use it. so, i guess it's only an option if baby comes in april. i do like it with evelyn.
really? i liked it at first, but not loving it as much anymore. maybe it's because it's his mother's middle name (not that i don't adore my MIL, i do). he thinks mae goes well with tess (dd's name). have to think about it.
i'll probably have a boy and this will all be moot. but i do appreciate all the suggestions.
we're trying to avoid names that are short for something (i know, we're very particular). although we have discussed cate/kate which is obviously short for something. i'm not loving it so much anymore, with the upcoming royal wedding and all.
Shea with either above middle name.
And, holy cow...here is a link to a zillion...I googled "one syllable girl names." http://tamarrion.tripod.com/id4.html
