Stevi Yeah, I don't know what to do! I would also tend to trust my first waking temp more, but I really don't like that it makes me only 3DPO lol . Ah well, I think I'll just keep it at that and hope that my next few temperatures will make my chart go one way or the other!

I have actually had a really hard time distinguishing CM. *TMI* I chose creamy when it was like lotion..white and wet, but more tacky than stretchy. Sticky has either been 1.not much there but when I rub my fingers together it sticks and crumbles, or 2. lots of it and it's...gunky? It stretches a tiny bit but is thick and not what I would call runny/wet...

In other, less grotesque news, my BBT thermometer arrived in the mail today! Yay! I don't know whether to switch mid-cycle or wait it out and start with the BBT next time?

I have been wondering about this same thing - but what you describe is exactly how I've been distinguishing between creamy and sticky.

That's so frustrating about FF changing the O date from 11 to 18! But looking at your chart, I can see how it would do that since the temps seem to be steadily climbing. Looks like you've got your BD covered, though, for both O dates! And that example chart you found matches up perfectly! Wow! I am excited for you to be in Waiting to Know. Wouldn't it be funny if you got your BFP before your PCOS appointment?!

Am I a terrible person because the idea of having a Christmas baby is nice due to it being the perfect excuse to skip all the exhausting extended family Christmas activities?

tantylynn: I agree with Stevi in thinking the earlier temp is more reliable but I'd have to know if you did anything when he woke you up. There were some mornings my cat woke me up earlier than my 6am alarm and I would shift, stretch, snuggle him so he wouldn't bite my hair, etc. but I always went back to sleep and temped at my usual time. So if you didn't get up, talk, or do anything but slight shift/roll over type stuff, the 2nd temp could still be reliable. If CD18 O is correct, it would also make sense since you thought CD11 was too early for you to O? I don't know! You got some good BDs in if you DID O on the later date.

Oooohhhhh... I didn't think of that... I've been imagining the disaster that setting up the tree will be.

A christmas baby sounds like the perfect excuse to never have to drive 3 hours to my in laws house, yay!

SithLadyFred I am totally with you on the excuse of being too pregnant to travel for the holidays excuse. I am hoping to get to use that one!

Gemmine Your description of your cat interfering with waking times made me chuckle because mine does the same thing! He is an aggressive snuggler and curls up on my pillow and starts biting my hair. I'm constantly swatting at him in the wee hours of the morning until DH gets up and locks the cats out of the bedroom (DH gets up and leaves for work about an hour before I do). I figure as long as it's consistent, it shouldn't hurt my temps too much!  LOL

LadyScientist:  I kept asking other cat people like, I KNOW I CAN'T BE THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS A CAT THAT BITES HAIR! If it wasn't so annoying, I'd crack up when it happens. He never bothers DH in the bed either, just me! But just like you I figured well he does this every day so it can't affect my temp THAT much.

I have terrible animal alarms, too. If it's not my cats biting my FINGERS or NOSE so I'll pet them, they're trying to sleep on my face... Or my dog is jumping on me to let them outside. And it's only me. ONLY ME. It's never, ever DH they bother and I don't know why.

LadyScientist, Gemmine & Stevi Thank you! I feel better now, realising that either way atleast I'm covered for BD! Gemmine It was mostly a wake up shift [temp] and fall back asleep, but I have a really hard time falling back asleep so it took like 20 minutes and I felt sort of half awake for the rest of the time till I got up. Anyway, I'm stickin with the earlier temperature and we will see. LadyScientist that is exactly what we're hoping for! We thought it would be just the thing to happen to us (please please happen) that we would finally decide on some sort of intervention and then A BFP would occur on its own. *sigh* if only!

I've always been hesitant to get a cat or dog for that very reason. My mom's cat is FAT and sleeps on her chest, arms, face, etc. No thank you, I'll take my sleep! And a Christmas baby sounds wonderful to me. What a great gift! My new O date would make my due date December 23 though, that's cutting it close and is my MIL's bday haha.

We have 2 cats, they both get locked out of the bedroom for that reason, I need my sleep too desperately to let them bother me! At our apartment our male cat used to cry and cry and bat at the door, once we moved into our house it is like they have too much room to care about me! That said, typically when I open the door in the morning they are sitting there waiting for me, how sweet. Our dog sleeps on a pillow next to my bed, he is quiet as a mouse (because he knows if he makes a peep he will get kicked out with the kitties!).

Okay, now don't get all excited because I need to keep from testing until at LEAST Wednesday, ideally Friday or super ideally Saturday... I've been debating whether or not to post because I HATE faux-pregnacy symptoms that turn into AF symptoms and then I feel like I've been scammed. I had a sharpish pain in my uterus last night and said blah, must be gas, because I heard on TV there are no nerve endings in the uterus wall, so REALLY there is no way to feel implantation, and then it kind of stayed on and off for about 5 minutes, and I was just folding laundry before bed, so when I went to lay down I pressed gently on my stomach to see if I could localize where it was coming from, and it feels like my uterus. So anyway, I feel like I have to pee all the time, literally I peed and then came to post this and I feel like I need to pee again, I've felt like this all day. I can typically hold it from 730 when I see my first patient until 1230 when I go to lunch, today I peed 4 times in that span... So maybe this can all be explained by a bladder infection or something, but I had a UTI a few years ago and this feels nothing like that. Then, when I was just peeing, there was a little red blood when I wiped, like watery, red blood. So maybe I am getting spotting earlier than usual & maybe I have a bladder infection... usually my spotting  starts dark brown with occasionally some deep red... Anyway, I decided to suck it up and post, because if I can't share here, I just have to let it eat away at me... I hate the 2ww, hate it hate it hate it... if this is AF coming in early this month, I'm going to be infuriated!

Nope!  I was thinking that earlier.  Everyone would have to come to us (and stay in a hotel).  And, the baby would be the gift...so we would save a ton of money.  ;)

You know, the month I got my BFP, I shrugged off all of my symptoms, too. The months I wasn't pregnant was when I was trying to read into everything.

The fact that you're shrugging off your VERY promising symptoms in itself is a sign. =D

We also usually throw the cats out, but like your cat, she meows and cries and meows and cries until we let her back in.

cbaa: Really hope to see a BFP from you soon!!

AFM: Still waiting to O. The CBFM is still "low" but the second line on the stick is slowly getting darker each day, but is still SUPER light. I don't really think I'll see any kind of change for another couple of days. I'm REALLY not sure what's worse - 2ww or Waiting to O. UGH!!

Oh, and CATS. We have two - brother and sister - Howie and Janie (I'm a huge Big Brother US fan, so they are named after my fave two house guests!). They are not bed sleepers, which is surprising. Only every now and then do they come in. Last night was one of them. Howie is a big baby and he has recently gotten into the habit of coming to the bed with us when it's storming. They are both feet sleepers, so they never really bother us at all. My former kitty, who passed away 4 years ago (Baby - I had her for 15 years) was definitely a head and chest sleeper, so I feel you guys' pain!!!

cbaa2010...   Ha! I felt the implantation with both of my pregnancies. That's how I knew I was pregnant. I think it happened right around 9dpo, both times. I hope that's what you're feeling!!

Though I love December in general, it's not really Christmas so much as December.

Is anyone having all these problems with the reply box? Mine doesn't have a cursor and is just wonky lately. I've tried replying a few times to no avail - argh. So, thanks cbaa for the thread and huge congrats to Mummoth! I have a hpt question - does it always say ont he box what sensitivity it is? I can't find the number on the box that I have (ONLY 1 left in there) and I am trying to have fortitude and not test until 14dpo and maybe if I know it's a 50 I'll be less tempted? Maybe? I am planning to test Sunday. I may or may not have a tri-phasic thing going on, though who knows because I slept in on Sunday (thank you DH) and tri-phasic doesn't mean anything anyway, which I know because I have scoured the internet for ANYTHING AT ALL that will make the 2ww less crazymaking... Does anyone know what affects implantation date? If BD is the day before o, does that mean anything? Grasping at straws. I know. Deep breath. Sorry for the spacing/typos, it's because of the no-cursor thing.
