organic/natural staples in Anchorage?

On a trip later this month, I am going to be in Anchorage with a car!  (this never happens).  Is there a place I can buy organic pantry staples like flour, oats, cornmeal, etc... in town?  Probably cheaper than mail ordering.

I suggest you start off at Fred Meyer or Carrs. They have greatly expanded their selections and are probably gong to be less expensive then New Sagaya or Natural Pantry.

Costco has RICE MILK!!! well they did today but it's the first I saw it.  They sometimes have other good stuff.  If you do not have a membership, you can do a walk through and see if it's worth it to get one.

Then I would hit the South Freds and then Natural Pantry.

If you're talking about very large quantities, you can order by the case from Freds for a 10% discount. It is usually 1-2 weeks order. For the natural food section, they order from UNFI.  I'd go through the South Anchorage store (Abbott Road). even if its not an regular stocking item, they will special order it for you.
