abnormal blood cell count ??

Does anyone know how to interpret CBC results?

I think i was about 9 or 10 weeks pregnant when i took the test (definitely first trimester)

and it came back with the following abnormal results:

white blood cell: 16.6 (normal 3.8-10.8)

absolute neutrophils: 13,446 ( normal: 1500-7800 (nearly double!)

eosinophils 498 (15-500) (not high, but the high end of normal)

i dont recall being sick during the blood tests and dont have any severe allergies.

my ob never called to discuss these results. i have been seeing a midwife who has not yet seen these results, but i really can't help but worry.  would the doctor call me if something was abnormal or is it my responsibility to call and make an appointment to discuss (which i haven't because I have a midwife now).  I'm trying not to stress out over this, but it really feels very alarming to me.

I had a few numbers thatwere higher than normal when I asked my doc said the numbers were not adjusted for pregnancy and that'd why I had a few" high" results.

I remember with my last pregnancy being concerned when I saw my cbc was all out of range like yours. My ob said that the values are a lot different in pregnancy and I'm fine. Especially absolute neutrophils and wbcs because often your body thinks of the fetus as a foreign invader it needs to fight off.
