We have the Beco Gemini that I use for walks and longer trips outside of the house, but am looking for something easy to pop DS into while I am at home. Â I used to use the Moby when he was a cuddly newborn, but now that he's almost six months old and probably about twenty pounds, I don't find it as comfortable, plus there is the hassle factor of putting it on.
Â
I really am just looking for something easy and quick that I can use around the house. Â I've been getting into the habit of just carrying him on my hip, but it would be really nice to have both of my hands back. Â I tried a sling that a friend lent me, but he's already heavy enough that it's not really that comfortable. Â (It's possible that I'm also sort of a wimp...)
Â
Someone recommended the Scootababy to me as a super-easy, comfortable, but supportive hip carrier. Â Sounds great, but is it worth the extra money? Â It's definitely not cheap, and I don't want to spend a lot on something that is essentially no quicker or easier than the Beco. Â Thoughts?
