"If further tests are successful, the scientists behind the vaccine hope they will be able to develop similar products for the millions who suffer hay fever and other allergies, although experts warn this will be far more difficult to achieve."

This one is right up there with the depression-curing vaccine. We're going to see a lot more of this to come. I hear there are a lot of vaccines in production right now and this is probably one of them. What's next? I can't even imagine what comes next; I'm certainly not on the edge of my seat either.

I will be thrilled if this works. And so would my husband and stepfather who suffer debillitating allergies-my stepfather is affected even by people in his office who have cats at home.

Since there are other, natural treatments that work to cure allergies (yes Ive done it for me and my son), this to me is ridiculous. But that's just me - a whacky alternative medicine kinda gal - placing all kinds of faith in treatments that are not science based and couldn't possibly work - but yet they did!

About 9 years ago a doctor in Ottawa offered me a cat allergy vaccine. He said he brought it over from Europe. I don't like vaccines and I have a needle phobia so it was a no for me.
