I am 39 weeks with baby #4 and am scheduled for a growth u/s tomorrow. With my previous babies, I always measured right on or a week or so ahead. This time, I was HUGE early on, but I have consistently measured behind by a couple weeks. I measured 35cm this morning, which is back from the 36 that I measured last week (that is the biggest I have measured).Â
Â
My m/w hadn't been concerned about how I was measuring, but the fact that I am now 4cm behind and going backwards brought up an u/s just to check how babe is doing. I know it is normal for measurements to go back a little at the end here, but his head isn't any more engaged than it was last week (it's not quite into my pelvis, but she can feel it when she checks me). She told me her gut says there isn't anything wrong and I'm not getting any intuition thing that something is up, but if there is a problem, I would rather know about it and make a decision from there.
Â
I knwo they will check fluid levels, baby's size (I know to not put stock in this one!), possibly placental function -- anything else? I just like to know what I'm getting into ahead of time.Â

Thanks!
