Baby doll recommendations?

DD has developed a major love of baby dolls recently, so I want to get her one as a belated birthday gift.  I've seen some lovely ones in the $90 range, but that's a little pricey for the moment.  Can anyone recommend a "natural", or at least not made in China baby doll in the $30-ish price range?  Thanks!

Check etsy. I found a lovely hand made one there for about $35

How old is you LO and when did she start taking interest in dolls.  I can't wait for that stage!

Can you, or do you know anyone who likes to, sew? My mom is making this soft dolly for Cecilia:

I second the Etsy recommendation.

Thanks for the recommendations, all.  I just remembered that my mother used to sew Cabbage Patch Kid-like soft dolls when we were little, but I don't think she's up for that anymore, unfortunately.  I'm really looking for something with a "hard head."  DD just turned 1 and her major interest in baby dolls at this point is investigating their lifelike features, particularly fingers, toes, eyes, and ears.  She's still only lukewarm with the two rag-type dolls she has, but LOVES the old-fashioned (full of poisons, I'm sure) plastic doll that was my mother's as a child, and the heavy Ergo-baby model dolls at our local natural baby shop.
