is there a toddler swing not made of plastic that someone can suggest?

I am looking for a "toddler swing"- for my 1 yr old- I would like something like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hedstrom-Folding-Toddler-Swing/dp/B000OW9Z3W

but that is only available in the UK and not in the USA.

All I have been able to find in the USA (in online searches) are things like this plastic type:

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=s&hl=en&biw=1600&bih=1030&q=toddler+swing+fisher+price&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=14789571120963726778&sa=X&ei=4hybTZSzJYe3tweWwty0Bw&ved=0CD4Q8wIwAg#

which is not what  I want.

Can anyone link me to any toddler swings made of fabric rather than plastic?

How about using a wrap for a hammock type swing? My 17 month old loves it!

hmm- I am not sure what you mean. Could you post a picture of this type? Is it something you make yourself? I am not very crafty in that respect at all!!

Here's a video of someone swinging in their wrap swing set up.  You can also use carabiners or sling rings + heavy duty hooks in a doorframe to hang up a swing.

And really, you don't need a wrap to do it.  You could use any heavy duty fabric... twill is probably the best because even if it develops a hole, it's very unlikely to rip catastrophically, unlike say, a quilting cotton.  And you could tie it more stretched out (further apart) so it's like a hammock vs a swing.

cyclamen: thanks for the link! I think ds is too young at this point for that type of swing but it is a really good idea for the future.

He is only 12 months old so really a baby more than a toddler. I just posted the question in the toddler section because the swing I like is called a toddler swing- and also when I look for baby swings I mostly get the really small electric swinging baby swings.

Judiau- yes the haba swing is somewhat close to what I am looking for- though expensive! haba tends to be. But I would love one with a stand attached-

Basically I love the hedstrom (one tht I posted a link to) I just wish I could find somewhere in the us to get it! But it is a uk made thing and they don't make them here or anything similar- I guess though there must be some type of baby swing that I can attach to a swing set stand- that isn't that thick plastic type? I am not totally anti anything plastic, I just don't like those types of swings. I also don't love the metal ones that you find in playgorunds- a big reason is that I get shcoks- like static electricity shocks- ridiculoously easy-  like I am very prone to them. So those plastic and the metal ones shock me a lot! SO that is whay I seek a fabric one, but one that still safely holds in my 12 month old.

I don't think your child is too young, it is just a way of positioning it. We've swung our baby since he was an infant.

Here are some more photos:

or try on the left side "was sonst noch geht"

And again, you don't need a warp, but if you have one, it is a good way of using it.
