Mamas Moves' Explorazone play, pretend and explore space for babies and kids up to age six years will be open all morning for a special rate of only $5 per family! More details about the Explorazone are available on Mamas Moves web site.
11:00 - 11:30 am: Cloth Diaper BootieCampTM Workshop for families who are new to cloth diapering. One lucky BootieCamp participant will win a Bummis Organic Diaper Kit! This value-packed kit is "Baby" size for infants 15-30lbs. and contains everything you need to start using modern cloth diapers today! (Retail value $136)
11:30 am - Noon: Check-in/Registration/Donations Pre-registered participants check in and receive "official changing room entry" ticket; additional registrations accepted as space allows. We encourage you to arrive early, and we can not guarantee admission to late arrivals. Additionally, all participants in The Great Cloth Diaper Change are asked to donate $1 to the Real Diaper Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides cloth diaper support and education to parents across North America. (Tax receipts will be available.) **Important note: All participants MUST check in by noon.
11:30 am - Noon: Diaper Mini-Fair: Did you bring everything you need for your great cloth diaper change? We'll have a supply of diapering essentials available for purchase. If you will be using the prewashed cotton prefold diaper you'll receive at check-in, you may wish to purchase a waterproof diaper cover so your baby will stay dry after the event. Cash or checks only please.
JUST ADDED: Participants are invited to bring diapers for a Swap & Shop during the Diaper Mini-Fair! Registered participants may bring along any cloth diapers and accessories that you would like to sell or trade. Sellers/swappers are responsible for setting their own prices, collecting payment, and Cutie Booties makes no warranty on on any diapers by participants sold during the Swap & Shop. Due to space constraints, we ask you to limit the Swap & Shop to cloth diapers only. No other baby/child items may be sold or traded. Please be sure to bring a blanket to display your items and also be sure that they can be packed away easily when it's time for the big change! (The diaper mini-fair and the Great Cloth Diaper Change will take place in the same space.)
Noon: Door prize winners announced. (Prizes include modern cloth diapers and accessories, as well as official The Great Cloth Diaper Change logo merchandise.)
12:15pm The Great Cloth Diaper Change participants (each one child/one adult pair) will be officially counted entering the designated changing space.
12:30 pm (SHARP) - The Great Cloth Diaper Change!
12:35 pm Event concludes, participants receive certificates at exit.
