hello ladies. I am desperate here, so I hope someone can help or lead me to someone who can help. I am cloth diapering my 3rd son and love it. I was given to borrow brand new baby beehinds diapers. The lady who is letting me borrow them was given them as a gift, but never had a child to use them with yet. I have been using them for almost 2 yrs now. About 6 months ago I noticed some tearing in about 6 of the dipers. This is not my main concern, but thought I would mention it. Then about 5 days ago my son started waking at night screaming and kicking in his sleep. Just yesterday after I washed the diapers I noticed they were very hard in the crotch area. so I tried putting them back in the wash without soap in hot water. I did that for about 3 times. Then I washed them again, but put in a drop of dawn soap and then did another hot wash. They are now drying on a drying rack, but still seem to be very hard. I am at a loss as to what to do. I used disposables last night to see if that is why my son was waking at night and he slept like a dream. So, I know for sure it was the diapers that had him waking. I don't want to give up cloth diapering and I also don't want to be ruining these diapers that have been given to me to borrow. I'm hopeing someone has some advice for me.
