Toddler Activities in McMinnville, OR

I'm new to the area and I'm having trouble finding some fun activities for my 13 mo. old.

So far I've discovered:

Story time at the library

"busy hands and feet"  at the library  (haven't been yet, probably because it's for 1-5 yr. olds)

Story time at 3rd street bookstore

and Tiny Tots at the community center (don't know very much about it)

I know sometimes places have special open toddler play times, that aren't really advertised, so I thought I'd ask here.  I'd love to find something like gymboree classes too.

Thanks!

Hi Guavagirl,  I would suggest Scotty's Playhouse at the Church on the Hill.  They have a toddler play area.  My son loves it.  He's a year older than yours.  It's free too, but the hours are somewhat limited.

Welcome to McMinnville Welcome.gif

I think all Mac resources have been listed.  Check into Tiny Tots though.  Your first visit is free and if you don't want to join you can always do pay for visit   It is in the basement of the Community Center.  If anything you should go and take a look at the bulletin board and announcement board at TT.  They have a pretty good listing of activities in and around Mac as well as classes available.

Scotties is great in that it is free.  If you are not religious you do not have to worry about it being at a church for religion is never pushed on you there.

Since the weather is "slowly" changing and we are getting less rain the parks are also a great place.  The time to go is before 2:30 which is when school gets out. Upcoming are also a lot of activities in downtown like Brown Bag Lunches which might be fun.

I'm going to bump this again.  Thanks for the info.  I'm really shocked by how little there seems to be.

There sadly isn't much, there are things a little north in Hillsboro/Forest Grove but along the same lines you've listed.  I'm looking for things to do as well, I'm in Forest Grove.
