Looking for doula near Bristol County w/ reasonable rates?

Let me clarify- by "reasonable" I mean "I can afford it." I think doula's are completely amazing and worth any price they choose to charge (especially being a new doula myself), but frankly, I can only afford a doula of a certain price tag.

I have not yet begun to put the word out on facebook and whatnot, because I have family who do not yet know I'm pregnant.

I'll be nine weeks Sunday, going to be seeing Louise Bastarache at Tobey joy.gifand am thinking a doula would be wonderful. I'm not 100% I will choose to have one, since Louise is so wonderful as it is, but I'd like to interview a bit and see if I really click with anyone.

We are single-income, sliding fee scales are appreciated. Feel free to PM me or email me at rchartier101@gmail.com. Thanks in advance!!

You should talk to Erin Monast - she should have  her cards/info at Louise's as she does massage in that same office.  If it is not out, usually someone at the front desk would have her info. She was very reasonable when I had Rebecca, but I'm not sure how long she had been doula-ing (?) then and it may have been reflective of that.

She's also helping facilitate the birth circles that are happening in Wareham.

Feel free to email me, too if you want more info/contact stuff- and she was my doula with Louise, and they worked very well together (and for us).

AND.... congrats!

Jessica
