felting with briggs and little

I have been trying to felt knitted slippers made with briggs and little - but am not having much luck.  any suggestions???? please

Are you using an all wool Briggs and Little like the Heritage or does it have some nylon like tuffy?  That could effect it.  Also, whites don't always felt as well as non-bleached colors.  That being said, I've never had problems felting with Briggs and Little, in fact I've had several accidental episodes of felting.  Use extremely hot water and not to much natural laundry detergent.  put jeans or something rough in the wash with it to help rub.  if that doesn't work, try felting by hand or against a washboard.  hop this helps!
