I need some good cheap snack ideas for myself and little ones.
We've got the cheese, raw fruit and vegs and yoghurt down...any other ideas?
We're just getting bored with old standbys.

do you bake? I like to make big batches of healthy "cookies", muffins, waffles and the like. Â They freeze great and easy to grab and go
Â
Can you eat nuts- making nut butters is WAY cheaper than buying the jarred kind. My son loves toasted waffles with peanut butter. Â He also love peanut butter/banana rollups. Spread peanut butter on whole wheat tortilla, place peeled banana at the edge and the roll up and slice into pinwheels.
Â
Hardboiled eggs, deviled eggs
Â
Popcorn sprinkled with parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast
Â
Soup is cheap and easy to make. Â A mug of soup is a great snack
Â
Fruity freezer bars- Puree fresh or frozen fruit and use a popsicle mold for a sweet treat.
Â
Roasted chick peas or edamame
Â
hummus and toasted pita chips
Â
guacamole and baked tortilla chips
Â
make your own gorp or granola
