So, my 15 1/2 mo DD is only 18.6 pounds (was just under 8 lbs at birth). got "failure to thrive" blood tests back and she's borderline low in prealbumin so doc wants us to see ped. nutritionist. I'm concerned - mostly because she's SOOO active. She's on time or ahead for all milestones (walked at 10 months, climbing stairs at 1 year, throwing balls, uses words, etc.) so I'm not sure if there is a real problem. She still breastfeeds at night and ped. is claiming that cow's milk would solve all. Problem is, she doesn't like it. She will not drink it from anyone (I work part-time so she has the "opportunity" to drink it as I can't send expressed breast milk with her). I dont' know what to do. She seems happy but ped. is worried. Thoughts? (She's also short - 4-7% for height).

Thanks all!
