How much milk do you drink?

We just started milking our goats, and now that I have raw mostly organic milk, I can't wait to start drinking more. I'm a little afraid I'll gain weight, though, to be perfectly honest. I'm 5'6 and 145, right now. Anyway, would love to know how much you all drink, along with your average daily food intake.eat.gif

Nobody drinks milk? Or no one wants to share with me?

I drink loads of milk, probably atleast a pint a day. Sadly it's just normal full cream milk; raw milk is illegal in Scotland and it's expensive to get it delivered from England. I would love to have some pygmy goats for milking, but unfortunately it's not something we can afford or have room for at the moment.

I don't think I could go a day without milk, and on top of that I have a lot of double cream and yoghurt. I don't think I could quit dairy if I tried! I've always drank a lot of milk and have always been skinny, so I don't think you need to worry about gaining weight from it.

I drink around a quart a day of raw, whole Jersey milk.  I'm about 1 size larger than I'd like to be (on my frame somewhere between 5-10 lbs.), but that's from a winter of too much snacking, there have been times when I was drinking just as much milk and stayed easily at my preferred size if I didn't snack and kept meal portions reasonable, the milk doesn't seem to have any bearing on that for me.

I stopped drinking milk by the time  I was a teen so I lost my taste for it. I am

Lactose intolerant however now I drink goats milk now in all my tea both black, Roobosh or green so about now   I drink about 2 cups a day plus at least a cup of kefir a day.

Growing up, you could not have paid me to drink milk. but since I "discovered" raw milk, I am now a milk drinker! I have gone through a bit over a gallon in three days. I don't drink the pasteurized stuff, but I will add it to my coffee if raw is unavailable. I am in no way concerned about milk adding to my weight. I'm a bit over my ideal weight, but I have a nursling so I am not expecting to lose any until he weans anyway.
HTH!
