Starting over - NEWBORN stash?

I'm TTC #2, and trying to figure out what diapers to buy for the next LO.  DD is PLed now, and I sold nearly all of her diapers.  The only things I have left are 11 Little Lions Medium Prefolds, 1 small pocket dipe, 1 OS Goodmama fitted, 3 Large fitteds, 3 XL Sbish Magic Diapers, and Large woool longies. 

I *want* to get:

2 doz. each size GMD Prefolds

6 XS Thirsties Covers

6 Thirsties Duo Size 1 Covers

6 Thirsties Duo Size 2 Covers

6 NB AI2s

2 doz OS AI2s

Some woolies (depending on time of year)

IDK what else...?  My DD has always been a SUPER chunk (mostly thighs), so I'm thinking the next one may be also.  She outgrew stuff really quickly, but thankfully I was able to sell & size up.  I kind of wish I had been able to hold onto more, though.

I'd really like suggestions for AI2s that are similar to Goodmama ONES (stretchy, silky, cute prints)... but more affordable...maybe that's asking too much LOL.  I would also love to find some good bargains, i.e. from baby bargain websites or one-day sales if any of you can suggest those.  I could kick myself for not buying some Applecheeks on a sale site yesterday for a great price.  I'm not a fan of pockets, but those have great reviews.  *sigh*

That sounds like plenty of stuff! When it comes to the hybrid systems, the most affordable would be Flip I guess. I don't like hybrids that much.

I like prefolds for newborns and then one-size pockets... It just works best for us! DD will be 10 weeks tomorrow and now fits into the smallest setting of OS dipes. DS at this point was huge already - he weighed 15lb at 2 months, DD only weighed 11lb at 2 months. So kids can be different... But if you expect a non-tiny one, the Thirsties covers will be fine. DD weighed under 7lbs and XS Thirsties just started to fit on her a week ago. She doesn't weigh that little, but is very tall yet skinny, while DS was tall and chubby.... Their shapes influences what will fit big time.

I'm not sure how well newborn AI2 work... Isn't there a big chance of poo on the shell? With DD I have to do the jellyroll or poop goes on the cover...
