MI carseat laws

Offhand, does anyone know or have a link to MI carseat laws?  I was talking with my SIL the other day, and she was convinced that we just passed a law requiring children to be in some type of carseat until age 12.  I told her I didn't think that was right, but I can't find anything with a quick google search.  I'm certain that we are now required to RF until age 2, but can't think of anything else that was new recently.  Please correct me if I'm wrong!

No, kids aren't required to be in a seat until 12, nor are they required to RF until 2.  It's strongly recommended to RF until at least 2, and booster until the child passes the 5 step test, but it's not the law.
