I just want to say that I am super happy to have made it to one year with my baby. She is #5 for me, so you would think that I have it all together with regard to breastfeeding (I nursed all my babies to a minimum of 2 years), but this baby was so hard to nurse for such a long time. I wasn't sure we were going to survive the first 3 months, let alone the first year. So many times I really wanted to just give her a bottle of formula so that I didn't have to deal with the hassle of getting her to nurse. It was so hard to just tune out all the bad advice that people love to give moms struggling with BFing. However, she has totally turned into a nurse-aholic, and I am thankful that I persevered through all the difficulties. And she is SUCH a plump, solid, sturdy little toddler.
Way to go, Mama! Congrats to you and your nursling for the hard work, and the results!
