3rd grade & IOWA tests

Does anyone know if the IOWA tests can be read to 3rd graders?  My daughter I "think" may have some learning issues so I'm testing her this year to find out where her deficits are.  I'm just curious if she will have to read everything on her own or if the tester can read the instructions to her?  Thanks.

If the test isn't being done for official reasons, like a state requirement, I'd imagine you can just use your judgment and read however much she needs.  Reading Comprehension would be the only thing you couldn't read to her and get an accurate idea of her understanding.

We did the CAT and someone could have done it that way.  We didn't because we were doing for the state and wanted to follow the letter of the law.  But if you are doing it for your own edification it wouldn't matter.  The results wouldn't have informed me if ds had learning issues, however.  The biggest thing I gleaned from the test results was that he had a lower grasp of language mechanics (punctuation) than other areas and I didn't find that surprising.  I did learn he could read better than I thought, however.  I don't know how different the IOWA is from the CAT.  I was going for the most minimalistic test that fulfilled requirements.

I know the teachers at my kids school read parts of the IOWA for grade 1-3.I might have done it for certain parts when my dd did grade 1 and grade 2. I read all of the K  for my ds.
