Sad

Thread Starter

I have time to read a magazine, in short snippets here and there, maybe even just a paragraph at a time between snacks, lunches, naps. I don't have the time or desire to read on the web or watch podcasts. I do not use facebook. I just learned of this shocking news while getting on the website to find out where my last issue was, as I realized I had not received it. I am wondering why there was no communication about this before? Or did I just miss it?

I understand the financial reasons. I am just sad that this is what our world is coming to. Call me a luddite, but I just want to curl up with a magazine or read in the tub with a glass of wine.

Oh well...here's to the future.

Mothering no longer has the staff or the financial resources to handle subscription-related complaints or requests. All the information about the closure of the magazine and existing subscriptions is contained in the announcement here

We have left this thread open for members to get the information they need about the closure of the print, mourn the loss of the wonderful publication that brought us all together, and to express feelings that are naturally occurring as a result of it all. But with new members registering to use this to make accusations and attack Mothering is an abuse of our time, emotional energy and resources. I'm closing this thread and we will not approve anymore threads about the topic. Anyone with remaining questions may read this FAQ about the print closure
