HPT this morning with FMU... BFN! I am so confused. This time, not even a slight line showed up! I am thinking the other two were literally just evaps or shadows because they are cheap tests. Oh well, will see if AF shows up this week!!!

The same goes for me... I took a hpt this morning with FMU --- and it was BFN.Â
Â
Feeling a bit down. I'm really doubting pregnancy. With my three pregnancies, I always received a BFP by 14 dpo. In fact, with my other three, I never had any of this confusion. I don't even think I ever got a BFN with those (but I didn't test early, either). I think that today should be 14 dpo. Although I'm not 100% sure.Â
Â
So now I think I should just stop with the hpts, and try to get busy with things to distract me. Easier said than done, right?
Â
Good luck to all of you! I hope you all get BFPs soon!

hi everyone!
Â
I need some more opinions/advice...i've taken 5 hpt's so far with them gradually getting darker but woke up this morning with fairly strong AF cramps
(15 dpo) but no blood at all, just quite a bit of creamy cm. i was slightly freaking out so i took another test with FMU and still got a strong positive. i've done some research to calm myself down and the cramping could be my uterus stretching but i'm just worried about a chemical pregnancy. i've already gotten so excited about the positive tests....any advice or opinions? has anyone else had AF-like cramping but not had a chemical pregnancy?? thanks in advance ladies!!!

BabyyFever-I have done a ton of research online and it seems like SO many women think that AF is coming and have almost the exact same symptoms (mainly the AF cramping) but AF never comes!! Then they end up finding out they are pregnant. It seems to me like this is COMPLETELY normal and a good sign!!! Good luck to you in your pregnancy!!
Congrats to all the recent BFPs!! I hope the BFP explosion continues!!
Â
BFillingham - I totally saw the line in the earlier test. I'm still holding out hope for you.Â
Â
Stevi - So sorry that AF missed the memo again this month. She's so friggin' stubborn!
Â
babyyfever- The cramping is completely normal. The day before I got my BFP, I had cramps all night and was convinced I'd wake up with AF. I also had cramps off and on throughout the first trimester... my doc said as long as there's no blood, it's normal and it's just the uterus stretching and growing. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much about the cramping - it's common and okay.

MommyMat, Bfillingham, & Beppie: Sorry for the BFNs, but there could still be hope? No AF yet??
Â
Â
AFM: POSITIVE OPK this morning!!! I'm really hoping for some BDing tonight. He's already said he had a stressful day though. Ugh.
Â
I'm confused about my temps and which one I should use. I got a regular temp at my normal mid-way through the night wake up. Took the temp, used the bathroom and went back to sleep. I had very fitful sleep after that until I woke up at my 6:35 alarm. The temp then, was definitely high enough that I believe FF would mark an O. But, I'm not convinced that I O'd last night with the +OPK this morning, or is that the way it works? I haven't entered a temp yet, because I'm not sure which one to use. I don't want to force an O in FF. I do normally take the temp at that first time, because it never fails that I wake up right before 4am. What would you guys use?
Thanks Shelley! No AF yet, she is due to rear her ugly head within the next 2 days, unless I am having a longer cycle. Which could be possible, since I kind of think I O'd late. We will see!! Now, I finally feel like I have some self control and have NO URGE to POAS!!! I think it is because after getting BFNs over and over, Id much rather just get AF. I will only test if I dont have it by Fri or Sat!!! ...(no promises but that is my plan ;)
Â
Shelley, I think I would go with the temp from the time that you usually take it, especially if that was after your most restful sleep. Maybe the fitful rest gave you the higher temp because you were tossing and turning?

You should take your temperature at generally the same time every day after at least 3 consecutive hours of sleep. Â Also, it should be taken up waking, before opening your mouth, talking, getting up, etc. Â Hope that helps! Â Yay for the positive OPK!!!

No AF for me yet, thank goodness. Â I'm only 9dpo so I'm trying to have hope, but after 14 months of trying my hope is slowly running out. Â My breasts have been getting increasingly tender since yesterday, but that doesn't really mean anything because I get sore breasts whether I'm pg or not. Â I'm kind of having a pity party today... eating junk food, having a coffee, and then some cuddling with my DD.

It sounds like many of us are in the same boat here with the BFNs but confusing symptoms and tricky lines! Â I tested again this morning and another BFN. I'm 13dpo so I expect AF tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest. At this point, I just want AF to come. Â My last two miscarriages were late BFPs (15dpo and 17dpo) so I don't want another late one. I just want to hurry and get on with the next cycle. Â
Â
I had acupuncture again today though and did tell him that my charts look great - nice, stable temps, not the erratic ones I've been getting this past year. Â When I told him I wasn't pregnant he said that he was actually hoping I could get one more cycle in to build everything back up. I said to him that if I knew he was wishing for that I would have told him to stop and start wishing for what I want! Â But maybe my body will be healthier in another month and allow a healthy home for a new baby so I can actually bring this next one home. Â

Yeah.... I totally FAIL at this with a 2-year-old nursling who cosleeps with me. She wakes me up all the time, either to nurse, or fuss, or talk. She climbs all over me while I'm trying to temp, too.

Blargh I am getting impatient, LOL! My nipples are darkening.. if they start to get lighter I'll assume AF is coming on. Should I test again tomorrow (it likely won't be FMU unless I hold it) or wait till Wednesday morning with FMU??
And yeah, lots of us with a lot of headscratchers! I hope at least a few more BFP come outta April!

LOL --- this is my plan too, exactly, Bfillingham! Well, not sure how long I can wait. But I am definitely tired of BFNs. AF is nowhere in sight. What a crazy cycle this has been. I just wish I could get it all off my mind for a couple of days.

I'm going to wait a couple days and test again, I guess.
