Spare seat: Scenera vs Tribute?

I'm looking for a spare seat and was browsing walmart.com for the Scenera. I noticed that the Evenflo Tribute Sport is just $1 more than the Scenera. I think the Tribute has more padding so it caught my eye. Does anyone know: how the shell heights compare? How about ease of installation? Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks!

They are pretty similar in terms of harness height and shell height. The install is pretty similar, although I think the Scenera is tougher.

The Scenera has the continuous-loop harness that bugs some people.

They're pretty much the same in terms of capacity.

Your post has me leaning towards the Tribute. I've had a Scenera - the harness doesn't bug me too much but I'm not a fan of the chest clip.

I don't have either, but wanted to suggest www.car-safety.org --they have a database with the dimensions, weight and features of each seat, if you want to compare them that way.  I didn't have time to search it for you, but i know it's available through that site.  All other things being equal, I would go with the lightest weight seat and plan to use that one for air travel as well.
