vent- 6yo...and the "mine-itis"

Ack!  I am so tired of my 6yo saying everything (or whatever is in his 3yo brother's hand) is his!  His little brother is *so* much more likely to share or give a toy to him.  ARGH!!!  That is all.

man, i wish somebody would respond with some good advice.  it seems though that Every.single.time i post about my boys ages 6 and 3 i get zero response - or maybe a couple....but either i'm left feeling like my kids are the only ones like this or that people think it's so normal that it's not worth responding to?????? 

but i hear ya!  my 6yo thinks he's in charge of everything and everybody.  even says "mommy, you always say i'm in control of myself".  and i do...oh how that seems to have bitten me in the butt!  i've tried to impress the "everybody is in charge of themselves" thing meaning "you can't control your brother - you can only control yourself.  BUT if you are out of control, mommy will help you get back in control of yourself".

whatever.....

i'm floundering here myself.  and really don't know where to turn.  so, here's a bump for you and hopefully somebody will help us!!!

My ds(4) is already at this stage, it's incredibly annoying! Especially so when it sends his very sensitive sister(6) into tears/rage... No advice, just sympathy
