Newbie to infertility

Hey yall, I have 1 dd who is almost 6 and my dh and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 1.5 yrs. I never suspected a problem bc. with my first it took us 4yrs but in my eyes we weren't "trying", until the last 2 yrs with things such as ovulation kits, charting, ect. But now I'm 34 almost 35 and there seems to be a serious problem. I have been to 2 docs and tom. I have yet another ultrasound more blood work and then next week I have the x-ray. I really don't know what to do or feel at this point. I don't understand any of the terms and its just a frightful time. I really expected my ob to just give me clomede and I would be preg. but not the case. I'm now seeing a reproductive endocrinologist, (please excuse my terrible spelling) and he told me that yes there is a something wrong. I dont know any one who has been threw this! I'm so glad that I remembered the mothering site as I use to use it all the time with my dd.

There are lots of wonderful and supportive ladies here.  I hope you are able to find out what the problem is and work with your RE to develop a plan of action.

Welcome, Tickled Pink! There are a lot of women here who have a lot of experience with the terms so if there's ever anything you need clarity on, just ask it. I'm sure you'll get a lot of helpful responses!!

Good luck and I hope your tests go well!
