What do you do with your beef bone broth?

I make chicken broth and I LOVE it with some salt.  I can just drink it from a mug.  But beef broth seems a little weird to consume that way.  When I serve my toddler vegetables I usually make it in that broth...but, then I'm not sure what to do with the rest and it seems like a waste.

I'd like to figure out a way to really consume it without a lot of effort.  It takes a long time and it a lot of mess with all the straining and the crock pot and everything that I'm not inclined to make a big recipe that requires a lot more dishes.

I just need some super easy ideas that I could whip up for lunch in about 10 minutes.  Any suggestions?

I like to cook rice in broth. It gives it a good flavor and uses up the liquid. Maybe mix a bit in with mashed potatoes? Keep it and freeze it, maybe use it as a gravy base later? I cant think of anything else off the top of my head.

I don't have super easy lunch ideas but I use beef bone broth for things like soups and stews and braising.  Braising takes a long time but it's mostly no-work for you as it's in the oven.  Besides that, it's WORTH it.  Braised beef short ribs or oxtails or shanks are to die for.  I am also about to use bone broth for making risotto.

I was going to say gravy, too. Minestrone soup base? yummy.gif
