I'm nursing my 21 month old who is allergic to dairy-soy-eggsand nuts- the only reaction to dairy and soy is microscopic blood in stool(that I know of)- we introduced dairy directly at a year- and he didn't have blood in his stool at 3 days- but when we brought the stool samples in 2 weeks later- he did... at 18months i ate some cheese- and 3 days later he had blood in his stool -2 sundays ago i had cheese- and he had blood in his stool on fri- sunday and today- is it normal to have such a delayed reaction. Is there hope he will outgrow this?I purchased the Hemmocult tests online to test his stools myself... i was sick of going back and forth to the doctor......it's a lot easier!
