Relocating to Norway, ME - help finding a place to call home!

Hello everyone,

So we are relocating to Norway, ME (from Portland) and I am excited, as we've alway wanted to move out of the city and live somewhere, where it is nice a quiet :) 

But finding an apartment or a house to rent is not easy! Craigslist barely has anything for that area... we are looking for a 2-3 bdrm house with a back yard, so we can grow our own veggies. I've checked out on-line listing for a local newspaper, but no luck either. Help! If there are mommas from that area, maybe you know someone who is renting a house/apt out :)

I don't live too far away from the Norway area.  Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone renting out a house.  However, you might want to put up a flyer/poster at Fare Share Market and Paris Farmers Union (there may be a other places but those are the stores that I frequent) saying that you are looking for house with yard to rent. (If you aren't coming out to norway anytime soon, I could put them up for you - pm me and I'll give you my email).  Also, try calling some of the real estate agents in the area, they may know of some rentals.  Good luck!

Thank you for great advice! We'll be checking the area out this Friday so we'll be able to put some posters up!
