Hello mamas. I am trying to figure out if my LO has food sensitivities, and I am stumped when it comes to the poop. I have never seen anything that I would call yellow and/or seedy. Her poops have been varying shades of bright orange to orange-brown ever since the meconium ended. She's 3.5 months old now. She had jaundice until just before 6 weeks, could she still be passing bilirubin, causing the orange poops? Also, what do "mucousy" stools look like? When I read allergy threads, everyone seems to be shooting for "yellow and seedy", but everything else I read assures me that there are many variations of normal for BF babies.
She has never had blood in her stools, nor has she had any green or frothy poops. The only other possible symptoms of allergy are stuffy nose (since about 2 weeks of age) and gas.
Never thought I'd have such a vested interest in poop
