started nursing more lately-causing period to come earlier?

my ds is almost 3 years old, and we've been nursing this entire time, except last month around the first day of my cycle (march 17th) we stopped for about 2 weeks while i was on antibiotics.  so then we started again(march 31st?) and i think he might be nursing a little more than normal because i've been letting him nurse for about 30-60 minutes in bed in the morning:)

so, 2 days ago (april 10th) i began spotting.  this is 1 week before my period is due.  is it possible to have shifted my cycle because of the nursing?

(im trying to rule out implantation bleeding, as we are very careful with protection and timing etc)

It's very possible that your cycle has been altered. I'm so thrilled to hear that you are still nursing. Way to go!

Hormones do different things when your baby is nursing more frequently. Feel free to PM, if you like.
