Tell me what you love about Reggio!

For those of you who have kids in a Reggio school, what do you like most about it? How has it helped your child grow personally?  Do you feel like there is enough pre-literacy and pre-math stuff, and did your child transition well to public school K?

Thanks in advance!

We have a wonderful Reggio school in Los Angeles. The teachers treat the student with respect and are really engaged in following the group's lead for how to plan the curriculum. The art is really wonderful, no cookie cutter anything. Very open to parent involvement.Plenty of fine motor skills development. Reggio is usually not academic so there isn't directed math/writing skills practiced (certainly no horrible worksheets) but I'd say the majority of almost 4s/4 y can write their name. Lots of work with skilss that build writing skills of course.
