My kids are on spring break next week and dh has been out of town for the last 3 weeks. He's out of town for 7 more weeks at least. He is 4 hours away while the kids are on spring break, and has gotten the ok to have us come visit. I'd like to travel at night. My 18 month old (22lbs and IDK how long) is rf in a scenera. My 4yo 39lb 44 inch old son is FF in a graco nautilus. My 6.5 yo 40lb 46 inch old daughter is in a HBB. In a perfect world, they will all be sleeping for this 4 hour drive. I want to harness my older dd for this trip, but we are limited in income. I was going to rf my ds in the scenera and move dd2 into a lower weight rf seat we have for her, but he is too long for the scenera. We have the cosco booster/ff harness seat, but no straps. I had really hoped to rf my ds, because even harnessed his head flops forward and out of the side wings. I worry that if we were hit on that side, his head would be impacted because it's not "back" in the seat. Any suggestions?
