I know EXACTLY what you mean.  I can't call "first" because I'm not due til the 9th--plenty of mamas due before me.  I'm kind of surprised we haven't seen any announcements yet! :)  Maybe someone has delivered and is just babymooning and we'll hear about it later. :)

I'm not due until May 24th, but I know I'll be one of the last - if not the last one - to give birth. :) My third baby was 3 weeks overdue!

I agree, I am surprised that we haven't heard about any new babies yet.

I doubt that I'll be first but I would LOVE to have this baby on the outside. I'm not ready stuff wise but I am so ready emotionally and physically.

me too.  i was going to start deleting the days that have already passed, but then i realized (like you mentioned) that someone may have had her baby, but just hasn't announced it yet.

I wouldn't mind going first. I'm full term. Come on baby! (as long as you are healthy) 

I usually have babies before the EDD, but my earliest one wasn't until I was 38+ a couple so I probably still have to wait. I'll find out soon enough. :)

I'm due on May 28th - I just said late May when I got here - and the 28th is the same day my mother was due with me, and I was born on May 22nd... and I was her third, and I'm having my third, so despite having had both of my first two the day after their due dates, I'm kind of hoping I'll manage to go a week early this time! Be fun to have a birthday baby. :)

It IS exciting to see that we have some full term mamas here finally, though!! :)

Plus, while we don't really pay too much attention to zodiac things, this baby is of course "Year of the Rabbit" like his daddy (whose birthday is the 16th!), so it would be cool, to me, for him to also be a barely across the line Gemini like me.

I am due May 29. I always say 'late May or early June" when asked about my edd. I'd really like it to be May, though, but I have been thinking June 6th this whole pregnancy. So, we'll see.

is this where we announce or should i make a thread?

alexander isaac was born 4/21 at 23:01 bright eyed and bushy tailed. i was induced with pitocin. Bag of waters ruptured by MD (grr) and four hours later Alexander arrived. I was doing really well naturally and at 9:30 I was 5cm and then it got *really* uncomfortable and I felt out of control. Couldn't leave the bed to walk or move about so I got an epidural without getting them to check me again and twenty minutes after the epidural he was born! No tears, no episiotomy, a couple pushes and hello baby.

Although I wish that I would have known I was transitioning when I asked for the epidural, I am just really really happy that I have a baby! He is in nursery currently bc his blood sugar dipped into the 40's.

Congratulations!!!  Welcome to the world Alexander.  I hope the both of you are doing well now.  Considering all that you've gone through this is definitely a baby to celebrate.
