Temps Staying High

I'm confused about my temps. This is only my 3rd cycle charting and my 2nd that I'm getting accurate temps (the first it turned out my BBT thermometer was broken). Last month I had a pretty clear thermal shift, but I haven't shifted back down. I am still well above last month's cover line at 7 DPO. Had a regular AF, but tested yesterday anyways to be sure, but it was negative.

I've heard that some women don't have a temp drop until the end of AF, but I've been just spotting for 2 days and temps are still high. Also, don't let the beginning of last cycle confuse you. My temps are high because daylight savings. Since I was still in AF, I decided it didn't matter if I just started temping at the new time rather than gradually moving it.

Here's my chart.

I wouldn't be too concerned about your higher temps at this point.  You only have one other chart to compare it to and cover lines will differ from cycle to cycle.  I would be much more curious if your temps were in the 98's, but since they are in the mid-high 97's I would guess that they will drop down soon as your body prepares to O.  Two other things to consider... I see that you have a 2 year old that you co-sleep with and who is still nursing so your temps will likely be a little erratic here and there due to night wakings and breastfeeding hormones.  I still always get a clear thermal shift as you did last cycle despite these issues, but it can lead to outliers and periods of higher than usual temps when sleep is not great.  The other thing to consider is that ovulation may not have occurred on the day that FF thinks it did last cycle.  It is likely that it did, but also possible that it happened on CD20 putting the coverline at 97.4.  This would put yesterday's temp on the coverline and today's temp could be an outlier.  I'm sure the next few days of temps will elucidate what is happening and I always tell people that it takes at least 4 charting cycles to be able to get a decent idea of what your pattern is.
