Joining in! Typically we use our Chalkboard wall to track projects, unfortunately we clean it off every Saturday to make a new game plan so I'm sure things get dropped off in the process.Â
Â
I'll be back on Saturday with a list...
Be a part of the community.
It's free, join today!
1. Keeping the dishes from piling up on the counters
2. Fold and put away all the clean laundry, sort out too small/winter items for donation while folding
3. Vacuum living room, stairs, and downstairs hallway
4. Mop kitchen, hallway, and bathroom
5. Go to drum circle on Saturday night and have fun
6. Dance around the Maypole on a sandy beach with my friends and family on Sunday
7. Collect driftwood for use as curtain rods in my living room and bathroom and as decorative pieces in my gardens
8. Enjoy a wonderful weekend with my family and friendsÂ
Â
DIshes didn't get done, vacuuming had to wait and there was no room in our car for any driftwood. Drat...
Â
However, this weekend I plan on:
Â
1. Do laundry (fold, put away, etc.)
2. Vacuum downstairs hallway and stairs
3. Go to Grove on Sunday
4. Plant my seedlings, seeds, and trees that I ordered
5. Rest and relax with my DH, lemonade in hand, on the hammock in the backyard...
I think I'm up for another go at a to-do list! It's kid-free weekend again! And baby day is looming, so I need to get a move on!! (I also seem to have caught a 3rd trimester second wind...the first couple of weeks knocked me out, but I'm feeling good again!)
Â
Ok...this weekend:
1. Fill up the car with cardboard and bring it over to the recycling center. (Why I didn't think of that months ago, I really couldn't say. So much simpler than cutting it all up to fit in my recycling bin!!!)
2. Clear off dining room table.
3. Put Easter project materials away.
4. Pretend it's cleaning lady week and give the house a once-over pick-up.
5. Laundry--preferably put it away once it's clean!!
6. Hair color appt! :)Â
I didn't end up coming back last weekend and then my magical to-do on our kitchen wall got erased.Â
Â
So far this weekend here are the plans:
Â
Â
Wow - looking at this list, I know why I'm so exhausted when I go back to work on MondaysÂ
I'll probably be back to add more once DH wakes up.Â
1. Do laundry (fold, put away, etc.)
2. Vacuum downstairs hallway and stairs
3. Go to Grove on Sunday
4. Plant my seedlings, seeds, and trees that I ordered
5. Rest and relax with my DH, lemonade in hand, on the hammock in the backyard...
Â
So I didn't get to the laundry - which is sitting in five big baskets in the dining room and in our bedroom...sigh...maybe we should get rid of some clothes. The vacuuming didn't get done either - but that's fine as we tracked dirt from the garden throughout the house anyways, so I can vacuum today. Not sure what this weekend involves, so I'll have to post later. Good job mamas!

Â
Bumping this thread in the hopes of breathing some life back into it.
Â
Yesterday DH and I cleaned all the windows in our apartment, outside and in (except the window in the utility room that is hard to get to).
Â
Our project for this evening and tomorrow is to declutter and organize the utility room. It's our storage room and it is very scary.
Â
Anyone care to join me? Â I figure the weekend is technically over for the most part, but some of us have a 3 day weekend. Or you can post your goal for next weekend.
My weekend to do list:
1. bag up old clothes for good will (a bag per person or so...)
2. recycle severley damaged board books (i have such a hard time with this but some of them have been so eaten that they barley count as books)
3. donate books we don't use to the used bookstore
4. Find more unused cloth to freecycle
5. Post on craigslist 'extra' baby stuff we don't use anymore
6. Mow the lawn!
Â
How'd you do, mamayogibear?
Â
We did pretty well on the utility room. It isn't perfect, but we cleared and organized a lot of space. Plus, I went through all of DS's old baby clothes, organized them by size and washed the 0-3 months clothes to use on the new baby. DH unearthed a food dehydrator that I thought I donated and regretted donating it.Â
Â
This weekend we are going to focus on cleaning and organizing the bedroom and closet. It has gotten out of control in there, I'm embarrassed to say.
