latch is not always correct

Hi - I am asking on behalf of a friend who does not have internet at home. Her son is 2 months old and though he knows how to latch and has presumably been nursing pretty well, he sometimes doesnt latch properly and seems frustrated / hungry.  He will just be sort of at the breast but there woul dbe no suction - I guess it is not possible to get milk without creating the suction?  If she expresses a bit of milk out he seems interested in it - which means he is hungry.

Why would be sometimes not latch on correctly?

I'm not an expert, but I think two months is still young to be latching on correctly every time. You might make sure she knows to try to latch him on so that his chin is closer to her breast than his nose.
