Chiro recommendation in Genesee county and prenatal massage !

Hi!

I am increasingly intertested in going to a chiropractor (preferably in Grand Blanc- there seems to be a lot of them here and hardly any reviews) as I have heard wonderful things and I am having a lot of back pain- probably due to cosleeping/nursing/carrying my babe around. Do you have any recommendations for me?

Also- I would like to gift a pregnant friend of mine with a maternity massage...recommendations?

oh yes i do!! erica peabody in fenton. she's on leroy (i'll get a link in a sec). i went to her when i was pg with my youngest. she's *awesome*. she's got this great pg belly pillow system. basically its a foam pillow with a hole cut for the belly. it is DIVINE to be able to lie on your belly!! she's got massage therapists on staff, though i haven't been to one. yet.

ok, can't seem to navigate in my own post up there, so here's the link i promised you. you won't be disappointed. she is really into birth and babies. just did doula training and is currently doing yoga teacher training to help her better understand the way the body and mind work. she has mothering magazine in her waiting room, as well as a a couple other natural minded publications. very down to earth and welcoming.

Thank you so much! I love that she is really into birth and babies since I am a doula myself!! 

I just contacted my insurance provider and found out that it only covers chiropractor services unless it is an emergency or a diagnostic procedure. I wonder if she has payment plans?

I will definitely check her out for my friend and for future pregnancies 

Oooooh and we both go to the same yoga place- maybe I've seen her around!

Adjustments are $35 if you don't have insurance. If someone else from your family is also seen the cost for them is $20. I hope that helps!

We use Dr Anderson at Tri County Chiropractic.  I'm not sure his normal fees but we're military so our adjustments are $5.  If both my son and I are adjusted its still $5.

Wow- thats a good price! How does James like being adjusted? What does the doctor do on him? I was thinking of taking Leo too!

He doesn't mind.  The first time I took him I didn't even know he adjusted him until he handed him back! I thought he was just checking him by holding him different ways, lol.  I wish my adjustments were so easy.
