Dd 8: Some sort of inspiring math program for 8-year-olds that challenges her and enriches her math education and yet doesn't shunt her into high school level studies. Possibly Challenge Math by Ed Zaccarro.

Dd12: Would love to find her a pottery wheel. She's also going to need a nice full-sized violin sometime next year.

Ds14: No ideas yet. He's comfortably on a part-time high school course trajectory, augmented by lots of music and computer programming. The course materials are all provided to him through the school district, so I don't need to provide that for him.

Dd17: An iPhone. She'll be unschooling herself and doing some part-time coursework living on her own in a big city on the other side of the country. She'll need a cellphone, and since her iPod is dead and she's a musician the iPhone is the obvious choice. Also the Teaching Company's course "How to Listen to and Understand Opera." She's developed a love of opera and would love to play in an opera orchestra.

I already bought Sonlight's Core 1/B before the price change, so that's done.  I just need to scrounge up some things for science and get that planned out this summer (using BFSU), maybe track down some more fun Usborne books or whatever.  I haven't gotten to that fun planning stage this year yet - still working on finishing this year and getting the garden and pantry planning underway (not much else happens if we're not fed during the year...).

We just need a handful of items yet - mostly those I can't get on Amazon with Gift Cards. Thank goodness for earning gift cards from swagbucks and other sites - it's paid for almost all of our homeschooling books this year and for next year.

Amazon:

Faith and Life 1 teacher's Manual

Catholic Heritage Curricula:

Behold and See 1 Science

Handwriting 1

What Do you Like to Do easy Reader

What Can You Do Easy Reader

1st Grade Lesson Plans

And I need to find something for art for a not quite 5yo going into 1st grade that engages her but doesn't frustrate her because she's not that great at motor skills. Something that works on cutting would be great as she really really doesn't get cutting.
