Looking for a dry erase wall map

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I am looking for a dry erase map of the US and the world, fairly large, that I can hang on the wall. The ones I am finding are over $100 each!

I've never seen one but I have gone to AAA, gotten a free map and had it laminated at a copy shop for pretty cheap. Way less than $100.

That Amazon one looks promising-- thanks!

I thought about getting something and laminating it as well, but I was looking for something with minimal detail so we could write in things as we studied them.

Sonlight has one that they even sell alongside markers, but I don't remember how much it was.  I think as long as you find something laminated, you should be okay...

Btw, your twins are adorable.  :D

Amazon sells a number of laminated maps http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=laminated+world+map&x=0&y=0

In one review, the woman said she put the large map on her dining table and covered it with a clear plastic tablecloth. What a good idea.

If you get the Sonlight map, let me know how you like it... I've been debating it (as I think I have free shipping for a year or some such thing).

I'd recommend reading the reviews on the sonlight page. There were people who liked it and those who had understandable issues with it.

I bought large laminated maps at walmart. Came in a 2 pack-world and US. I have them on my kitchen wall.Pretty darn big ones. They were maybe $9 about 5 years ago. They had some marked down to $2 after the fall school rush so I had to get another set, lol. For us it was useful as we look up the states dh is currently in(OTR driver). Plus we taped state quarters on the map.
