where to sell second-hand nappies in the UK

Hi everyone,

We are done with nappies/diapers (Yay!!!) and I would like to sell my stash on. Normally I would sell things on eBay but they have this silly policy about not being allowed to sell second-hand nappies. I know a lot of people do it anyway, but I don't want to risk it. Does anyone have any advice as to where the best place to sell them is, ie. where do you get the best exposure and therefore best price?

I see quite a few on the netmums for sale boards. They are local boards so generally no postage involved, you'd be arranging to meet the person, cash on collection. I guess being local the ability to sell will be dependent on how popular cloth is where you live.

What about this one http://www.usednappies.co.uk/ ?  I haven't used it myself, but have been looking around for places to sell some of our stash too - looks like a possibility. (No one seems to use cloth where I live!)

I just checked for my local area and there are lots of people selling cloth diapers. Not sure if anyone is buying, but it's free to post. I was able to sell a stroller on there last year.

I've used http://www.thenappysite.co.uk/ with good success (although it can be a bit slow). 

Also you can sell at NCP second hand sales. 

And if you feel like donating there's always freecycle, or your local cloth nappy group might be able to find a good home. 

Congratulations on being done. I'm really ready for that. My second in cloth is approaching 2 so I hope we're nearly there. :)
