Right forum or not? ISO stats on CS fatalities......

First:  I want to apologize in advance if it is inappropriate to write about this, AND if this is not the right forum.     A  friend of mine has a cousin who just had an emergency CS (first baby) during which she "bled to death".  I know absolutely NO details, and am not close enough to this "friend" to ask for lots of details, at least not yet.  All I do know for sure is that the baby was in distress.  And yesterday, this full term, perfectly healthy "looking" baby died.  I am just wondering where I should go to find statistics on how often this happens.  I am trying like crazy not to be fearful.  I am due in May with my 7th baby.  My most recent 2 babies were CS.  I am faced with 2 obstacles; 1)  VBAC bans in my local hospitals  2)   I have a "problem" going into labor naturally. All of my vag. births were inductions.  sometimes as late as 14 days.    In all honesty, try as I might, I am concerned with either option.  VBA2C, though I know what the stats say about UR.   My 3rd CS.  so, anyway, if you have any info for me I would appreciate it.  thanks.

If you haven't already done so, be sure to check out your local ICAN chapter.  They could be helpful and a great resource for you if you are just starting to look for info.  Good luck to you!  :)
