PIH at 34 weeks :(

:( It looks like I have developed hypertension over the past few days. My baseline was around 110/70 and I am consistently at 140/90ish, although it gets down to 120/80 if I lay down for a long time. NO protein in my urine, and my labs are mostly normal except for hyperuricemia, which by itself does not necessarily indicate a problem. Also baby B seems to be almost exactly the same weight as he was a month ago, although that could just be due to u/s error. THIS SUCKS!

I am going back in on Thursday for an NST, but I am going to see if I can at least come in today for a protein dip. I am worried because I have so many classic signs of pre-e, and I just want to make sure we are keeping a close eye on things.

Of course the intended parents (I am a surrogate) are freaking out, and I am just plain miserable. My head hurts, I am nauseated and dizzy. My kids are being good and I am not on strict bed rest at this point, but I feel like crap unless I am resting. I have my last final today and then I have a few weeks off from school.

PLEASE send positive thoughts and prayers that this does not develop into pre-e.

Oh, and one of my pet rats (my oldest, Maryann) is scheduled for surgery tonight so I am worried sick about her. She is not a young animal and she has some pretty extensive nonmalignant tumors. I am so worried that the vet is going to decide she is too much of a risk for the surgery, or that we will go ahead with it and she won't make it through. :( So, please extend your positivity to her as well. :(
