Choosing Doctor for a Birthmother

Hello there,

A birthmother who contacted us asked us to choose her OBGYN, who will need to be high risk and in California. We live on the East Coast, so I'm not exactly sure the best way to research. Does anyone have any ideas or tips?

I would go to the tribal area on MDC for the birthmother's state and ask for recommendations.

California is huge.  I would ask for recommendations in her city, not just the county or state.  As a birthmother, I also don't see why she can't find a doctor on her own, even if you guys are paying for it.  It would make things much simpler on everybody, she knows her preferences and her area way better than you do.
