of being sick and tired!

I was hoping to get some ideas to boost my family's immunity. We have had someone in our house sick since January
 and often it's been all five of us at the same time. It's been all these respiratory junky viruses that we just can't seem to avoid. I'm starting to wonder what we're doing wrong and I'd like to make some changes (big or small) that could help.

We are a gluten-free, tree nut-free house due to allergies/intolerances, and I've already kicked dairy out the door because I convinced myself that the cows were responsible for all of these mucousy events. We don't take supplements (yet), and try to get outside everyday when the weather allows. My boys aren't crazy about veggies, but do eat lots of fruits, and sugary sweets are kept to an absolute minimum. I buy organic/free range when I can, and we eat cooked from scratch foods for every meal, every day.

If you were to make some big changes, what would you do? What about supplements? Should I add something? Is there one thing that you feel is absolutely vital to health and well-being?
