Am I allowed to give a UC book away in this forum?

Is there a rule at mdc against my offering a book at no charge? I have the book called Unassisted Homebirth, an Act of Love by Lynn M. Griesemer. It's in new condition. I no longer need it but I hate to just donate it to Goodwill! How many thrift store shoppers out there would even know what the heck it was? LOL

No charge, I'll pay shipping if you live in the US. If this is allowed (? I hope?), PM me your address if you are interested.

Well whether it's allowed or not, Sheepish.gif  I've received a PM from an interested individual, so the book's been claimed.

Thanks!

I just finished reading that book.  I really enjoyed it.  I could relate to a lot of what the author speaks about, but I kept laughing and cringing everytime she used the word "lover'.....don't know what it is, but I hate that word.  It feels like a seedy word, like two people having an affair. I would never refer to my husband or boyfriend as a "lover."   LOL!!!

Still, loved the book and will treasure it always.  I can't part with books like that myself....I re-read them and use them as reference and occasionally when I meet someone who is interested in the subject, I lend it out.

Yeah, it was a very good book! The author is a smart woman.

LOL about "lover". Maybe it's just a generational difference? I agree. That word has that effect on me, too.

I too cannot part with those books! I keep them as part of my library. Very important information! I'm even a little weird about lending them... I'd be afraid I wouldn't see my books again!
