Does vinegar kill viruses?  I've read very conflicting claims and am looking for scientific journal references on this one.

I'm looking to use it on skin virus on my four year old (MCV).  I understand it serves to break down the surface of the bump, and that is helpful in and of itself.  But although vinegar helps against bacteria, it seems that it is not necessarily antiviral.

I'd love to know if anyone here has a link to medical journal on this one.  I am sure this stuff has been tested.

I think either way we will still use it against the MCV, but I am sort of wondering about the effectiveness of vinegar to disinfect the tub after my daughter has bathed.  For that, I think I may have to use something different ...

Thanks Mamas
