Can you dehydrate quarter-size drops of yogurt?

Thread Starter

my picky 2 year old is INHALING these yogurt bites (dehydrated/flash dried?) faster than we can make the money to buy them.

anyone know if i can make these myself?

disclaimer: i am not crafty, nor too handy in the kitchen, nor do I have a dehydrator (i can borrow though)-- but i want him to eat well and for us not to go broke doing it!

can anyone help? has anyone attempted this kind of thing, or something similar?

thanks!

I'm not familiar with the item you're speaking of, but yogurt can be dehydrated like fruit roll-ups.  Not sure it's feasible to do so in a cheap round dehydrator - they're incosistent at best.  But a high end dehydrator like an Excalbur can do it.  If you could borrow one of those for a week, you could easily make a gallons worth (or more).
