Where's January 2012 DDC? - Page 2

I am so happy to see this forum as I just got by first BFP last Wednesday! I am officially 5 wks, 1 day. If I may please ask, how is your stomach feeling? I am constantly feeling little twinges (not cramping) and sometimes a band of mild pressure in my lower abdomen. Also, I feel like im already showing. I'm somewhat petite and DH and I have definately noticed a small bump that wasn't there before. I don't know how this is possible since i'm still in cell and implant stage of development? Is any one experiencing anything similar? Since this is my first, I feel like I am over examining every possible thing:)

I am waiting for the Jan DDC thread, too.

I got my BFP this week and I'm 4weeks or so (due 1/8, I think). I am tired, have tender bb's and a decreased appetite but then when I do eat, I feel SUPER hungry.

This isn't my first, my kids are much older - 21 and 16 (both BF, one born at home, both born w Midwives). I'm 45, and in awe that I'm even pregnant. No help, just the old school method ;-)  Right now I'm worried about m/c (no history, but just my age) and will the bean be okay.

I figured out POAS=pee on a stick. What does BFP stand for?

It's probably bloating/gas.  Progesterone causes the digestive system to slow down and that can cause constipation and bloating.  You're right, at this stage the baby is still an embryo, teeny tiny, and your uterus won't poke out above your pubic bone for another 7 weeks or so (for a first time mom)

Big Fat Positive.  Of course, my terribly crude mind always substitutes another "F" word... 

Michelle0522 - I'm bloated too.  My work pants are already tight.  Last time I blew up like a baloon almost right away.  I have a short torso, so everything's a bit crammed in there to start with.  Add a growing uterus... And there's nowhere to go but straight out.

I was wondering the same thing this morning, since January 2011 was up on 4/28/10.  Maybe they forgot us.

I think that they meant to open it last night (the post about closing the Jan 11 DDC said it would close in 48 hours, and that went up friday night).  The mods are volunteers, someone probably just hasn't gotten to it yet.  Just hang tight :)
