At what age did your Flip diapers fit?

I'm planning to have a small newborn stash in addition to our Flips, but I'm wondering how soon the Flips will fit. At what age did Flips fit your LO? Also, at what age did they really fit *well*? TIA!

Every baby is different and fit depends more on baby's shape than baby's weight.  If your baby is on the chunkier thigh side then they may fit right away or within 1-2 weeks.  If baby is more slender thighed I'd say after 2 weeks and not well for a month or so.

DS was 6lb14 oz at birth, he could wear one at about 10 lbs / 8 weeks

DD just wore her first Flip with a newborn insert yesterday. She is 5 weeks old, 8lb4oz last week. She is tall and skinny, 25% for weight and 75% for height at her appt on Friday. The Flip fit on the smallest setting, but I was worried about leaking through the leg holes. I would definitely use them for night-time; she only pees at night and never poops, so I'd be less worried about a blow-out.

My Flips were really wide between the legs.  Though they fit and didn't leak at about 8 lbs, I felt there were too wide until 12 lbs and about 8 weeks.

They started to fit DD (who was 7lb6oz) from about 2 weeks, but we have the folded organic inserts and they are really really wide!

11-12 lbs, 6-8 weeks is when they started to fit, but fit *well* at 3 months.
